In-Person Retreat-Style Training for Therapists, Facilitators, Trainers, and Community Builders

This is a retreat-style, skills-forward day for people who lead groups and want results that are both felt and measurable. We’ll weave short, applied teaching with embodied labs so you can learn, test, and refine in real time—then take the methods straight into your next cohort. Expect a practical path to that shared state of aliveness — where meaningful change reliably flows from shared safety, connection, and delight—without relying on charisma or chance.
You’ll work with two complementary frameworks (developed by Elena Khazanova, LCPC and rooted in interpersonal neurobiology and positive neuroplasticity):
Somatic Entrainment™ — how to create a coherent group field using somatic resonance practices:
Starting at the body level softens resistance, deepens rapport, and makes connection feel safer and more enjoyable. These levers translate across therapy groups, retreats, classrooms, community circles—even business meetings.
Somatic Installation™ — a clear Prolong–Amplify–Absorb sequence that turns fleeting “glimmers” into durable traits. You’ll learn to install states like safety, ease, satisfaction, and connection so they stick between meetings.
Flow of the Day
The result: a grounded, repeatable approach to groups--substantive enough for CE review, practical enough to run next week, and humane enough to sustain you over time.

- Opening & Container-Setting: arrive, connect, and set the field together.
- Somatic Micro-Skills: breath, eye contact, movement, vocal resonance, body-informed storytelling, deep play, shared meals, and (with consent) resonant touch.
- Exploring Group Styles: practice formats for therapeutic, personal growth, co-visioning, co-working, and play-based groups.
- Group Design Lab: design, enhance, or re-design your own resonant group; receive real-time feedback, encouragement, and support.
- Integration & Closing: embody what you’ve learned and take it home ready to use.

Information on Continuing Education Credit for Health Professionals

- CE credits for psychologists are provided by the Spiritual Competency Academy (SCA), which is co-sponsoring this program. The Spiritual Competency Academy is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Spiritual Competency Academy maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
- The California Board of Behavioral Sciences accepts CE credits for LCSW, LPCC, LEP, and LMFT license renewal for programs offered by sponsors of CE who are approved by the American Psychological Association.
- LCSW, LPCC, LEP and LMFTs, and other professionals from outside of California need to check with their state licensing board as to whether or not they accept credits from programs offered by approved sponsors of CE by the American Psychological Association.
- SCA is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN Provider CEP16887) for licensed nurses in California. RNs must retain their certificate of attendance for 4 years after the course concludes. Nurses outside of California must confirm acceptance with their licensing boards.
